Example - Set up assistant
If you wish to enable a colleague to change your presence status and call forwarding, take your calls and permit him to see advanced call information (see Matrix), proceed as follows.
You can set relationships at your own XPhone Connect Client for other users. The own XPhone Connect Client is therefore used to set what the other user is allowed to do or see with their own data.
First you (employee A) search employee B in your XPhone Connect Client.
You change the relationship now under User > “ … “ Further actions (
) > Change relationship to contact there you have to click on Assistant.
Employee B is now your (employee A) “Assistent.
Hint
Depending on the operation agreement, the administrator specified whether relationships with contacts may be extended and limited or only extended. Depending on what is possible, the selection is greyed out.
The relationships can be specified centrally by the administrator. A corresponding note appears in the context menu under Change relationships to contact > Default relationship.
