Call
Enter a name in the search field, move the mouse pointer over the contact and click the receiver.
or
Enter a name in the search field, navigate to the contact using the DOWN button and press the ENTER button to call the first number of the contact.
or
Enter a phone number in the search field and click the receiver at the end of the search field (or press ENTER). This also works with numbers that are inserted into the search field.
or
Use the dial keys next to the search field for input (on-screen keyboard).
or
Select a user via your groups, move the mouse pointer over the contact and click the receiver..
or
Select a telephone number in an external application (e.g. an e-mail) and press the Hotkey
kbd:Alt+F12 is preset, but can be changed.
Tip
All of a contact’s numbers in the address book are shown in the receiver’s drop-down menu.
Info when available
If the contact to be called is not available (e.g. as he is on the phone or Unavailable), you can activate the Info when available option via the toolbar or the contact’s context menu. You will then receive a message via the toast as soon as the contact is available again (e.g. he has finished his call or presence has been changed to Available).
Note
This option is only available for the user when the Relationship status to the respective contact permits access to his busy phone status or presence information.
