  • Microsoft Office 2021 (Outlook) 32/64 Bit

Hosted Exchange

If the Exchange Server is not located in the corporate network, as is the case with Microsoft Office 365, there are functional restrictions and special technical requirements for the XPhone Connect Server due to the lack of a MAPI connection. There are basically the following scenarios:

  • Office package (Word, Outlook, usw.) installed as Fat-Client on the PC (or terminal server)

  • Office package (Word, Outlook, ect.) available as Web-Client in browser

In this case, the Exchange Server is not located in the corporate infrastructure (possibly only for Office 365 Business), regardless of whether it is Office 365 or a hosted Exchange scenario.

Supported versions

See www.c4b.com for information on supported Microsoft Office 365 versions.

XPhone Connect support for Microsoft Office 365 requires installed full versions of the Office applications Word and Outlook.
