Voicemail - Settings required for the telephone system
If voicemail is used, the CLI is a redirected partner for external callers flag must not be set! If it is set however, a caller forwarded to voicemail is identified as a voicemail owner and requested to enter his PIN.
System miscellaneous > System performance characteristics:
XPhone Connect Configuration - UM
Voicemail configuration
In the following example, 401 is entered as the internal phone number for voicemail. All other parameters were not changed (default).
System settings > UM > Voicemail > General
Message Waiting Indication - MWI configuration
If the telephone system is connected via CSTA, MWI is set or reset with CTI; this feature can, of course, only work, if a Line was configured for such an end device in the XPhone Connect Server under Telephony!
System settings > UM > Voicemail > MWI
Auto Attendant configuration
The telephone number for the Auto Attendant must be configured for PBX and always be forwarded to the XPhone Connect Server. You can find information about the XPhone Connect Auto Attendant hier.
Fax configuration
An internal fax number (configured beforehand in the telephone system) must be entered for the respective user. In this example, participant 101 has 301 as a fax number and the participant with 102 has 302 as a fax number. Nothing more is necessary to be able to send and receive faxes with the XPhone Connect Client.
User management > Location/Configuration group > User

XCC
Hint
The SIP gateway for the AnyDevice, Softphone Mobile/Desktop, Meeting and TeamDesk functions is configured independently of the SIP trunk of the UM functions.
Configuring the PBX
Create trunk
Create a trunk for the XCC under External lines > SIP > SIP gateways (here 10.21.0.50).
Domain proxy
Enter the IP address of the XPhone Call Controller (XCC).
Default Transport Mode: UDP.
Customize remote SIP port (default 5060) - here 5062
Media
Results
Index 1: DT (SIP-Trunk)
Index 2: XCC
List of connections
The settings can be found under External lines > List of connections.
Add VoIP.
Assign trunk channels.
Select the gateway index (here 2-XCC).
Hint
If the SIP gateway has already been set up in XCC, the gateway status should change to Active.
List of bundles
In the example, this is set to XCC for the *501 trunk, VoIP is assigned via Details, and the name XCC is assigned if necessary.
System Miscellaneous
Here you can see the system features Part 1 and Part 2.
Routing
In the routing table, it is important to set up routing in the direction of XCC for internal as well as external numbers. The setting is made under Numbering > Auto routing > Auto routing: Prefixes. In this example, the XCC uses the code 9 for three-digit extensions. In addition, the network must be treated as Private!
Setup bundle for assignment in the automatic path search
Configure the *501 bundle with XCC assignment and adjust the selection table list accordingly to index 3 on bundle 2. In this case, the bundle *500 assigns the SIP connection (DT Telekom) with index 2 on nd 1.
Adjustment of call number plan
In Internal and public number plan, the additional bundle with the ID 9 must be configured with NÄT:Keep and Private Yes. Proceed in the same way for Private number plan.
Hint
The Treatment as Private is used because the Private Prefix is set in the automatic path search.
Traffic distribution Trunk XCC
If the routing does not work, check the VoIP line > Connection categories settings in with the List of trunks > Trunks: Details > Connection categories settings with the traffic distribution.
Hint
Likewise, you should check the matrix traffic distribution of the trunk to the provider and the authorizations of the subscribers.
Feature design
If the CLI for external diversion and CLI is diverted party if external caller parameters are not configured correctly, FollowMe will not work on account of an incorrectly transferred redirecting ID. Please note the following required information:
It is very important for an inbound AnyDevice call (FollowMe) that CLI for external diversion is checked.
CLI is diverted party if external caller must not be checked!
Configuration of the XPhone Connect Server
Dialling parameter
Depending on the release version and configuration of the PBX, the following parameters may differ from the description.
Optionally, the parameters DefaultLineToDisplayFmt and DefaultPhoneToDis-playFmt can also be set with the value 16 if there are problems with the number resolution.
System settings > Dialling parameters > Dialling parameters object > Advanced settings
Name: Flags Value: 16
SIP Gateway
System settings > Telephony & Meetings > Telephony > SIP > SIP Gateway Objekt
At Host name or IP address (local) you can see the remote side configured at the OXO (Domain Proxy).
