HTTPS configuration on the IIS

Attention

No expired certificates may be used in the certification chain up to the root certificate (applies in particular to certificates from Let’s Encrypt).

1. Purchase an SSL certificate from a certification agency classified as trustworthy by Android / iOS for the my-company.de host used.

2. Activate the HTTPS link using the certificate you have purchased. The standard port 443 can also be changed.

• Entweder: für das virtuelle Verzeichnis im Internetinformationsdienste-Manager (standardmäßig Standard-Website > XPhoneConnect > Mobile) SSL-Einstellungen > SSL erforderlich ankreuzen und für alle anderen (XPhone Connect > Admin | Analytics | AppLink | Doc) den Zugriff auf das Intranet einschränken, z.B. über die Einschränkungen für IP-Adressen und Domains (erfordert die Installation der Funktion Internetinformationsdienste > WWW-Dienste > Sicherheit > IP-Sicherheit).

• Or: remove the HTTP link for the default website (then all virtual directories automatically demand SSL).

Configure the firewall used to enable incoming queries to the port set for the HTTPS link.
