User management > Location > Configuration group > Settings > [Setting]

  7. You can make user settings of a configuration group by clicking on it:

User management > Location > Configuration group > User > [User]

Edit settings of a configuration group

Change name and description

Click on the options options menu: Options > Edit Configuration Group. The Change configuration group dialog opens, here you can change the name and description.

Change settings

A configuration group is always subordinate to a location and can adopt its configuration. However, different settings / authorisations apply for different user groups in the same location, they must be divided into configuration groups. Proceed as follows to make individual settings for a configuration group:

User management > Location > Configuration group > Settings (Tab)

Now click on a function (e.g. Telephony) to make settings.

  • Default

Use this function with the location settings

  • Individual

Use this function with own settings for configuration group. The settings of the superordinate location are not adopted; default values are entered. Individual settings must be made thereafter

Hint

  • When settings are changed, it may take a few minutes until these changes are available on the XPhone Connect Client.

  • In general, all changes are applied without restarting the client.

  • A client restart shortly after changing settings on the server does not accelerate the transfer of the settings from the server to the client.

  • It may be that certain settings are grayed out, in which case they have been disabled in the location-settings.

Delete configuration group

Click on the Options menu: Options > Delete configuration group. Confirm Do you really want to delete the configuration group? with OK, together with the configuration group all users contained in it will now be deleted. You will return to the overview of the assigned site.

Caution

This action cannot be undone.
