Federation

Federation can be activated or deactivated for the site and/or configuration group; users must avail of an Office Plus license and Federation must be configured correctly.

The settings listed under Relationships also apply for Federation. - Users on federated systems such as Microsoft Skype for Business can be either an External person or an Unknown person:

• External person

  • sees the XPhone Connect user’s presence status and can chat with this user.

• Unknown person

  • does not see the XPhone Connect user’s presence status but can chat with this user.
