Call pickup from AnyDevices
The fact that a call pick-up to an AnyDevice device is not possible in individual cases can be due to various reasons. Some PBXs do not support a redirect command (Deflect Call) on ports that are redirected. This is the case, for example, if Follow-Me is activated and the user wants to pick up a call from a colleague via XPhone Connect Windows Client. The following configuration steps are necessary so that the call pick-up still works:
Configuration of the PBX:
A prefix number must be configured on the PBX for the node to the SIP trunk (XPhone Connect Server - XCC) (e.g. 41).
Configuration of the XPhone Connect Server:
System settings > Telephony & Meetings > Telephony > SIP > SIP Gateway Objekt > Advanced Settings
Click Add and select
XccGatewayInPrefix
.Add the value
41
to this name.Repeat the previous step and this time select the following name:
XccUseDirectRedirecting
and value1
.Click on Apply and on Save.
System settings > Dialing parameter > Dialing parameters object
Hint
In the dialling parameters of the SIP gateway and the CTI gateway, adjust the length of the internal call number accordingly - in this example a length of 5 is required, this is made up of the digits of prefix + extension (2 digits prefix + 3 digits extension).
