Migration

Here you will learn how to migrate from a Windows-based XCC to a satellite XCC or vice versa.

Windows to Linux XCC

Tip

If you want to keep the existing SIP gateway with all settings, for example to quickly switch back to the old SIP gateway, then it is recommended to create a new SIP gateway with all new settings and to deactivate it already during the creation. During the Migration you can then quickly deactivate the old SIP gateway and activate the new one.

Hint

The SIP trunks on the PBX must point to the IP address of the new Linux satellite.

  • Under System settings > Telephony & Meetings > Satellites the desired satellite must have the status Running status-green.

  • Disable the SIP gateways under System settings > Telephony & Meetings > Telephony > SIP.

This clears the SIP profiles on the Windows XCC, which means that no further SIP communication will take place from the XCC and the local ports will be closed.

  • The corresponding satellite can now be selected and set in the XCC.

The RTP port range may need to be taken into account (port forwarding WebRTC).

  • If the XCC is Ready (status-green), the SIP gateways for the Linux XCC can now also be activated.

Linux to Windows XCC

  • Disable the SIP gateways under System settings > Telephony & Meetings > Telephony > SIP.

This clears the SIP profiles on the Linux XCC, which means that no further SIP communication takes place from the XCC and the local ports are closed.

  • On the XCC, Use local XCC from XPhone server can now be selected.

The RTP port range may need to be taken into account (port forwarding WebRTC).

  • If the XCC is Ready (status-green), the SIP gateways for the Linux XCC can now also be activated.

Hint

For the SIP gateways, the AnyDevice lines must be created via AnyDevice Wizard. If there are conflicts between the line numbers and existing AnyDevice lines, these must first be removed using the AnyDevice Wizard!
