Typical use cases
Display of caller data when ringing
A common requirement for improving work processes in the company is display of important data related to the caller already during ringing.

Dashboard display in caller toast
To do this, create a dashboard and specify under Conditions that the dashboard should be displayed in the XPhone caller toast.
Avoid elaborate elements in a toast dashboard, such as embedded iFrames. These can cause longer loading times and time-consuming rendering. A toast dashboard thrives on fast availability. A special case is the automatic execution of actions in the dashboard toast (see Automatically activate the dashboard view). This function allows for example to open masks of other applications already on ringing.
Display of data during the call
This is the default case when display in XPhone Client is selected under Conditions. The dashboard is displayed within the conversation window.
Quick contact search with access to enterprise applications
The integration of the dashboard in the contact card allows the user to display the dashboard display, which he also gets in conversations, within the contact card and the journal details. For this, the display in the XPhone Client must be selected under Conditions.
Dashboards without contact record
A dashboard can also be used to display data of a call or to transfer it to another application via an action. For this purpose, the data of the call context is evaluated and, if necessary, transferred to another application via an action. This can also be done via autostart function. See The data context of a dashboard and Automatically activate the dashboard view. Note that call context data is not available in all situations where a dashboard can be displayed (e.g. not from the contact card).
