New system#
To license a new XPhone Connect system, proceed as follows:
- Login to XPhone Connect Web-Administration
Open the XPhone Connect Web-Administration in your browser.
Log in with your administrator access data.
- Navigating to license management
In the main menu, go to System settings > Licenses > License management.
- Retrieve licenses
Method 1: Via the integrated license management in the Web-Administration of the XPhone Server.
Click on Manage license package online.
Enter the license request code and click Next.
Select the radio button New customer and click on Next.
Enter the information of the licensee and the service provider. Click on Next.
You can enter optional information about the sales representative or telephone systems. Click on Next.
Here you can see an overview of your previously purchased or retrieved license request codes. In this case, this is the first and only license. Click on Next.
Confirm your entries and have the licenses automatically imported into the XPhone Connect Server by clicking on Generate and install licenses.
You will receive a license file license.xml by email, but you do not have to import it with this method!
Method 2: Generate license via online license management and upload license file.
Determine your Hardware ID.
Open the Online license management in any browser.
Enter the license retrieval code and the security code and click Next.
Select the radio button New customer and click on Next.
Enter the information of the licensee and the service provider. Click on Next.
You can enter optional information about the sales representative or telephone systems. Click on Next.
Enter your Hardware ID here. Click on Next.
Here you can see an overview of your previously purchased or retrieved license request codes. In this case, this is the first and only license. Click on Next.
Confirm your details and have the licenses sent to you by e-mail by clicking on Generate and deliver licenses.
You will receive an e-mail containing the license file (license.xml). Save this file on your computer.
Click on Import license package in the Web Administration under System settings > Licenses > License management.
Select the license file from your computer and then click on the Import button.
Checking the license activation
Ensure that your new licenses are correctly activated and visible in the system. To do so, follow these steps:
In the Web-Administration navigate to System settings > Licenses > License management.
If the license retrieval was successful, a license certificate should be displayed there.
All ordered licenses should be listed in the overview.
