Management

You can find the following settings in the Web Administration under:

System settings > Licenses

License management

The License management gives you an overview of all purchased licenses. You can see the license items, the type, the validity and the number of available and used licenses.

You can import, manage online or delete licenses here.

Import

You can redeem licenses via the license request code sent by C4B in the online license management. You can upload the XML license file sent by e-mail via Import license package.

Import a license file here you obtained as XML or request it:

1. Please have your licence request code ready and click on Import licence package.

2. Your hardware ID will now be shown.

3. If you do not have an *.xml file, follow the link on a computer with internet access and follow the instructions on the screen to access you license package.

   • You will receive your license file by e-mail, which you can import into your XPhone Connect Server.

4. In step 2, select the *.xml file and click Import.

Manage license package online

For online license management, please have your license request code ready and click on Manage license package online and follow the instructions on the screen.

Prerequisite

The computer with which you access the Web-Administration has access to the Internet. Follow the instructions in the online license management.

If the installation is successful, the following text will be displayed:

The licenses were successfully generated and installed on the XPhone Connect Server.

Delete

Use the Delete button to remove all licenses contained on the system. For example, if you need to move your XPhone Connect Server to other hardware.

Users

This view contains an overview of all license types, except XPhone Connect TAPI, used by users.

Filter

• Select a selection parameter from the LICENSE column in the drop-down list:

  • -all-

  • XPhone Connect ANYBELL

  • XPhone Connect CONTACTS

  • XPhone Connect FAX

  • XPhone Connect OFFICE PLUS

  • XPhone Connect TEAMDESK

  • XPhone Connect VOICEMAIL

  The drop-down list is updated automatically depending on the existing user licenses. If all existing data records are to be found, select the -all- option for products. In this case, leave the search field empty.

• If you want to search using a search term, enter a search term and click on the Search button.

By clicking on the respective Heading, the list view can be sorted in ascending or descending order.

If licenses have been assigned to users by mistake, this must be corrected via the assignment in the user administration.

Lines

This view contains an overview of all licenses and lines that have an active lease. This is necessary, for example, when licenses were allocated by accident.

Filtering lines / list view

1. Select the desired selection parameters from the License field. A dropdown list helps with selecting the individual products:

   • -all-

   • XPhone Connect TAPI

     • The list view updates automatically.

2. If you want to find all data sets, selection the option -all- for products. The search field stays empty in this case.

If you want to narrow the search with a search term, enter a search term and click on the Search button . By clicking on the respective Heading, the list view can be sorted in ascending or descending order.

If licenses were allocated to a user by accident, this must be corrected in User management by removing the authorisation from users of the location to use the respective function.
