Swyx - SwyxIt! Softphone & DECT

Add SwyxIt! Softphone as a client interface to the XPhone Connect Directory and access your contact data from your Softphone. LDAP is used as interface.

You can also use this client interface for the Swyx DECT system. Set up the client interface as follows and note the configuration information concerning DECT at the end of this page.

Requirements

• Swyx - SwyxIt! Softphone - version: 10.20.1796

• Swyx - DECT500 - Firmware: IPDECT/03.24/B0021

Configuration

• Open the configuration interface of the XPhone Connect Directory.

• Click on Add client interface.

• Select the client interface type Swyx - SwyxIt! Softphone & DECT.

• Click on the Next button.

• Carry out the steps in the dialog:

1. Configure the Basic settings

2. Configure IP & Port

3. Configure the Authentification

4. Configure Security

5. Configure the Search

6. Configure the Phone number conversion

7. Configure the Restricting the number of hits

8. Configure the Overview

Configuration of the PBX

SwyxIt!

In VisualContacts, go to Settings (gear icon).

1. The server address incl. port must be specified here (e.g. localhost:391).

2. Depending on the configured authentication, the corresponding login information must be entered.

3. The default LDAP node (dc=Meta) can be used unchanged. Changing to the LDAP client interface of the XPhone Connect Directory (vdir=VDir) is possible but not obligatory.

Swyx DECT

Set up a global telephone book as follows:

LDAP filter: (|(givenName=%*)(sn=%*)(telephoneNumber=*%)(l=%*)(company=%*)(c=%*))
