HCL Notes adress book

Add a HCL Notes address book as a client interface to XPhone Connect Directory and access your contact data via a web interface.

• Open the configuration interface of the XPhone Connect Directory.

• Click on Add client interface.

• Select the client interface type HCL Notes address book.

• Click on the Next button.

• Carry out the steps in the dialog:

1. Configure the Basic settings

2. Configure IP & Port

3. Configure the Authentification

4. Configure Security

5. Configure the Search

6. Configure the Phone number conversion

7. Configure the Restricting the number of hits

8. Configure the Overview

Hint

When you use the Notes client to set up XPhone Connect Directory as an LDAP user account, some Notes clients have the Use filter for easy search option which must NOT be activated. For the XPhone Connect Directory, this means that the LDAP filter condition is not created or evaluated correctly.
