XPhone Connect AppLink

Add XPhone Connect AppLink as a client interface to XPhone Connect Directory and access your contact data via a web interface.

• Open the configuration interface of the XPhone Connect Directory.

• Click on Add client interface.

• Select the client interface type XPhone Connect AppLink.

• Click on the Next button.

• Carry out the steps in the dialog:

1. Configure the Basic settings

   Hint

   As the client interface name is a component of the URL for accessing the AppLink, not all characters are allowed. Only use upper/lower-case letters and numbers in the client interface name.

2. Configure the Phone number conversion

3. Configure the Restricting the number of hits

4. Configure the Overview

The overview also shows the two different URLs for the web clients, the normal URL (http://<hostname>/client.aspx) and another URL showing a view specially adapted for smartphones (http://<hostname>/smartphone.aspx).
