System requirements
The system requirements for the server on which Contacts by XPhone can be operated can be found here:
The server requires an Internet connection or must be able to send https requests to the domain c4b.com (incl. subdomains) on port 443.
Additionally, a tenant for Microsoft Teams must be purchased from Microsoft.
In order to make calls from Microsoft Teams, there are corresponding requirements depending on the application being used:
Telephony with Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Teams phone licenses are required.
Telephony with XPhone Connect: You need an XPhone Connect server including user and server licenses. In addition, XPhone Connect must be entered as the standard application for the telephony protocol (further information on XPhone Connect can be found here).
3rd party telephony application: A functional and licensed system is required and the client application must be entered as the standard application for the Tel protocol.
To be able to use the product as an end user, an installed Teams client and a Teams account are required.
Hint
If you want to use the alternative identity, the server must be part of the Windows domain. The Alternative identity is required for access to personal contact data (private Outlook contacts).
